Maureen graduated from the University of Toronto Law School in 1992, and was called to the Bar in Manitoba in 1994. Her legal career has taken her to Northern Manitoba, Southern and West Africa, and the South Pacific. Following her travels, Maureen returned home to Victoria and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2007.

When not practicing law, Maureen continues to enjoy traveling and visiting her five children who are scattered around the globe.
